How to Make YouTube Channel Art with Panzoid

There are many ways to make your YouTube channel art but today I’ll show you the easiest and quickest way to do it, in my opinion. You’ll be using a free web app called Panzoid. Here’s how to use it.

Okay so this is the Panzoid YouTube channel art creator. Basically you have this area right here and this is the YouTube channel art dimensions for the new YouTube one channel. The green area is the minimum real estate that you want to use in your channel art. Make sure you at least have that filled in so it all shows up on mobile devices. Let’s go on over to the left hand side and get started. It has some preloaded templates that you can choose from and edit. That’s the way I like to do it, but you can start from scratch if you want. I’m just going to choose one of these preloaded templates. Click on it and it’ll show up in the main screen. Here you can go on and customize it how you want it.

Let’s move on to the basics tab. You can change this to your liking. For now I’ll move on to layer one. You have different options to choose from that will change the look and effect of the channel art which is cool. If you click on the little square it’ll bring up a bigger square and here you can change the color. You can also like have it fade into a different color so if you go all the way to the right and click on the color bar it’ll pop up a small box and you can change the color to fade. I’m not going to go over all the details but just know it does have a lot of options so you can customize it to your liking.

Let’s move on to layer 2. This is where you can further change the look of it with the other layer. I’ll move on to the next tab. You can add a channel shadow and have it go to fade near the bottom. Moving on here’s where you can customize the text. So some text is already there. It says Panzoid and if you click on that area you can input your custom text, most likely your channel name. After you enter your text you can change the font, color, position, size, and effects. Let’s add a text border and make it white. As you can tell I’m a horrible designer, but you get the idea.

You can go in here and create your custom YouTube channel art very easily, and it fits the YouTube one channel dimensions perfectly. All you have to do is just drag, drop, add, and edit your custom background, text, and graphics. You can add your own photos and images to the background. It’s just really customizable so spend some time in here and play around with it. Once you’re finished designing it you can click the download button and it will download to your computer. Then go to your YouTube channel and click “edit channel art” and upload your photo from your computer. There you go, now you have your new YouTube channel art. That’s how to make your YouTube channel art in 2014!
